Reykjavik Inn
Reykjavik Inn is composed of
a few inns and apartments in great locations in the Greater Reykjavik
area owned by hoteliers who have been in the hospitality business
since 1974, with their own company now for 20 years.
 Reykjavik
Luxury cul-de-sac Inn
located in 104 Reykjavik, within walking distance of the new
commercial center of Reykjavik, Reykjaviks geographical center,
the botanic gardens and Reykjaviks main spa area. Featuring real
hardwood and marble floors. Paintings on the wall. Jacuzzi bath.
1.5 bathrooms and only 3 rooms let out. Fully equipped kitchen
with neon lights. Free Internet and plenty of parking. Only 7
minute drive to the center of Reykjavik. This is a very comfortable
place. See this photo show. This is also available as
a private apartment.
 Nature
Inn is located in Mosfellsbaer on the edge of Greater Reykjavik,
only 5 minutes from Reykjavik. Spectacular view. Next to a hike
and bike trail that takes you to the ocean (7 minutes) and mountains.
Villa inn is also located in Mosfellsbaer (Greater
Reykjavik). 1200 m2 garden. Within a short walking distance of
Alafoss kvos, a small cobal brick street where artists live and
work.
 Flatmate
Inn is located next
to Nature inn in Mosfellsbaer (Greater Reykjavik). This is the
Inn favoured by young people. Here you can join a happy community
of young healthy people who may be staying longer than you, even
for months or years. This gives you the opportunity to tap into
the knowledge of where to go and what to do to get the most out
of Reykjavik and Iceland.
At the Reykjavik Inn we are
not just another hotel or inn. We are conesours of what Iceland
and Reykjavik has to offer. We will actively help you get the
most out of your trip or vacation. For example: If you are a
family with young children we can provide you with an aupair.
If you are single, you may want to stay at our Flatmate Inn with

I recently had a wonderful
experience in Iceland staying at the Iceland Lodge. It was refreshing
not to be staying in a hotel, but to enjoy the privacy and freedom
of a house in a friendly country styled village setting at an
affordable price.
Ideally located 15 minutes
from Reykjavik, and surrounded by stunning views of snow capped
mountains and just a few minutes walk to the Atlantic Ocean.
The house is spacious with all the comforts of home. Three bedrooms,
spacious living areas, cooking facilities, TV, dishwasher, gardens,
and even a computer with internet access make it a relaxing and
enjoyable experience.
The local village has
an abundance of activities including walking and cycling tracks,
a swimming and sports center, golf course, horse riding, and
the shops are only a 5 minute stroll away. They include a glorious
bakery, supermarket, bank, tavern, gas station, amongst others.
If you are planning a
trip to this wonderfully unique and beautiful country I highly
recommend staying at the Iceland Lodge.
The Reykjavik Inn consists
of four Icelandic great houses. Each one is the kind of house
a successful manager or professional would be proud to have as
her home.
Smoking is not permitted inside
the buildings.
We have adopted and extended
environmental guidelines and
ecotourism for the benefit of the Icelandic environment and
people.

“Coming to Iceland from
California I was unsure & a little skeptical of what to expect.
But any worry I had quickly faded away upon my arrival into Mosfellsbaer
and my new home at the Iceland Lodge. My host, Siggi, made certain
I had enough towels, linens, and knew where everything inside
the guesthouse was located. In addition, the 2 other tenants,
one from Germany & the other Switzerland welcomed me with
open arms. After unpacking (dresser and nightstand in room) &
getting my Internet connected I immediately felt right at home.
In the first 3 days I was able
to go for a magnificent walk along the sea while breathing in
the fresh Icelandic air and staring in amazement at the mountains,
go horseback riding on the small yet strong & affectionate
Icelandic horse, swim in the surreal, natural heated geothermal
spa, Blue Lagoon, whose water is rich in minerals and silica,
experience the eclectic nightlife in Reykjavik, try the world-famous
lamb hot dog, and go for an evening drive past nearby waterfalls
which ended in a magnificent viewing of the Northern Lights.
Not only were these experiences
easily accessible from my accommodation in Mosfellsbaer, but
getting to return home in the evenings and utilize the kitchen
facilities, sleep in a comfortable & warm bed, and use the
internet to blog all about Iceland are reasons why I’d highly
recommend the Iceland Lodge to anyone coming to this unbelievably
